We’ve just finalized our schedule for the 2014 Burton Midwest Demo Tour! Come out to a stop near you to try out the latest and greatest Burton tech before you head in to your local shop to buy it. Every stop is free with the purchase of a lift ticket or a season pass and will run from 10AM to 3PM.
NEW THIS YEAR – Everyone who demos a 2014 Burton snowboard will be eligible for a free Burton beanie. We’ll also have raffles at select stops to give away even more Burton, anon. and Analog gear. Stop by the demo tent for details.

This Saturday is Zombie Boardshop‘s 9th Annual Shred Till You’re Dead contest at Buck Hill. The cost is only $25 and there will be cash prizes for all divisions. Check the flyer above for more details.

Representing Burton in the flick will be the homies Shane Ruprecht and Ryan Barker. These guys have been hustling hard over the past year to bring the best Midwest has to offer and we’re sure this video will be nothing short of a banger.

On Monday, May 20th, we hosted students from Forest Hills East High School in Ada, Michigan’s Gone Boarding Class here in Chicago. Gone Boarding is an innovative twist on shop class in which students design, build and ride their own longboards, surfboards, stand up paddle boards and snowboards.
As an end of the year field trip, they boarded an early (6:30am) bus bound for Chicago and a day truly worthy of the title Gone Boarding.
